Legislation & Education

The NCAA maintains a legislative affairs initiative in order to support policies that positively impact aviation in North Carolina and the US. The NCAA emphasizes policies that reduce the burden of excessive regulation, preserving airport access and communicating the positive contributions of aviation to local, state and national lawmakers.

The Airport Association recently established the North Carolina Airports Association Educational Foundation, Inc., a public charity under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The purpose of the Educational Foundation is to provide scholarships to deserving students attending schools throughout North Carolina with aviation programs. This goal will be achieved through public support from individuals, corporations and others.
